Former One Direction star Liam Payne died after falling from the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina, according to state police. Emergency services were called Wednesday evening in order to deal with a man acting erratically and perhaps under the influence, Alberto Crescenti, the director of SAME, Buenos Aires Emergency Medical Services told ABC News. Payne's body was found in the inner courtyard of the hotel where he was pronounced dead on the scene, according to Crescenti. Crescenti told local Argentinian media outlet TN that Payne fell 13 to 14 meters, the equivalent of about 42 to 45 feet, describing the injuries as "very serious" and "incompatible with life." Crescenti added emergency services arrived at the scene at 5:11 p.m. local time, seven minutes after they received the emergency services call. Actor Lee Sun-kyun of the Oscar-winning "Parasite" was found dead in an apparent suicide Wednesday (December 27, 2023) while facing an investigation over suspected drug use. A man in his 40s was found unconscious in a car at a park in central Seoul at 10:30 a.m., and the police later identified him as Lee. A charcoal briquette, which can cause fatal carbon monoxide poisoning, was found on the vehicle's front passenger seat. Lee's manager had earlier reported to the police that the actor left home after writing a memo akin to a suicide note and that his car was gone. The manager had visited Lee's home in Cheongdam-dong in southern Seoul as he was out of contact. Lee's body was later taken to Seoul National University Hospital. SF9 will be returning as an 8-member group as member Rowoon departs the group. On September 18th, SF9's label FNC Entertainment announced member Rowoon's departure from the group. The full statement is as follows:  "Hello, this is FNC Entertainment. We're writing to notify you of SF9's activities.  SF9's contract with us came to an end on September 18th, after being promoted as our artist for 7 years since the group's debut in 2016.
