Fantagio Announces New Long-Term Memorial Space For ASTRO’s Moonbin

"Moon's Space" at Gukcheongsa Temple will begin running on June 7 By Gladys Yeo Over the weekend, the K-pop agency released a statement regarding a new long-term memorial space called “Moon’s Space” for the singer at Gukcheongsa Temple in Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province. Moonbin was one of six founding members of ASTRO, along with MJ, JinJin, Cha Eun-woo, Yoon Sanha and ex-member Rocky. He was also the older brother of Moon Sua of the K-pop girl group Billlie. The singer passed away in April 2023 at the age of 25. The memorial space will run long-term starting from June 7 at 5:30am KST. Fans will be able to visit the space from that date during the temple’s opening hours, which are from 5:30am to 6:30pm daily. It shared that while Moonbin was personally not Buddhist, the space had been set up at the temple at the request of his family. tvN working on a prequel series to 'Hospital Playlist', set during the characters' college years

  tvN 's ' Hospital Playlist ' is returning soon, this time with a prequel series.  According to media outlet reports on June 1 KST, tvN has begun preparations for a prequel series to the hit drama series 'Hospital Playlist'. The prequel will be set during  Lee Ik Joon ,  Chae Song Hwa ,  Kim Jun Wan ,  Ahn Jeong Won , and  Yang Seok Hyung 's college years, 20 years before the events of 'Hospital Playlist' and 'Hospital Playlist 2'. The prequel series will not be directed by Shin Won Ho PD, but he intends on participating as a creator. Additionally, in the prequel series, the main characters will be played by younger actors rather than the original cast members of 'Hospital Playlist', including Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Kim Dae Myung. T.O.P Announces His Departure from BIGBANG

  On May 31, T.O.P communicates with fans via Instagram and says that he has formally left   BIGBANG  to embark on a new chapter in his life. Fans were thrilled when  T.O.P  shared a brief video and a snapshot on his  Instagram  account, T.O.P is seen in the video mixing music at his home while sending a brief caption. Said he, “Still making my albums.” Over the next two days, fans deluged the artist with questions about the post. EXO's Baekhyun, Xiumin, & Chen file for the termination of their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment

  On June 1 KST,   Law Firm LIN , representing   EXO   members   Baekhyun ,   Xiumin , and   Chen , announced that an exclusive contract termination notice has been sent to   SM Entertainment  on behalf of the three artists. According to LIN, the three EXO members have submitted a total of 7 requests for documents detailing the earnings and payments of all three artists from March through May.  Believing that there were problematic aspects of their earnings, Baekhyun, Xiumin, and Chen chose to request clear and transparent records of the company's earning calculations, a fundamental right as artists; however, SM Entertainment allegedly claimed that company could not reveal the information to the artists. Furthermore, LIN stated that SM Entertainment forced its artists to sign lengthy exclusive contracts totaling 12~13 years, then recently demanded that artist renew their contracts prematurely as to extend the contracts to at least 17~18 years.
