BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Jisoo are reportedly both establishing their own individual agencies.

According to an exclusive report from News1, both Jennie and Jisoo have recently established the frameworks for their own individual agencies. While they continue to discuss potentially signing a contract with YG Entertainment for BLACKPINK’s group activities, their individual agencies would be focused on operating and running their solo activities.



YG Entertainment has commented on News1’s report.

There is nothing confirmed regarding the contract renewal and future activities for BLACKPINK.

Previously, it was reported that Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa would all leave YG Entertainment while only Rosé would stay with the company.

On November 12, Seongdong Police Station in Seoul confirmed that Song Jae Rim was found deceased in his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District. Actor Lee Sun-kyun of the Oscar-winning "Parasite" was found dead in an apparent suicide Wednesday (December 27, 2023) while facing an investigation over suspected drug use. A man in his 40s was found unconscious in a car at a park in central Seoul at 10:30 a.m., and the police later identified him as Lee.
