“BTS “We Are Back”: Jimin and Jungkook Honorably Discharged Today”

Seoul, June 11, 2025 – K‑pop supergroup BTS is officially stepping closer to full-circle—and fans are ecstatic. Members Jimin (30) and Jungkook (28) have concluded their military service and are being discharged today from the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, after enlisting on December 12, 2023, for their mandatory service.


Their return marks a pivotal moment: all members of BTS will soon rejoin one another. Earlier, Jin and J‑Hope had already completed their military duties, while RM and V were released yesterday  . Suga, who is fulfilling duties as a social service worker, is scheduled for discharge on June 21.


Adding to the excitement, their agency HYBE recently unveiled a massive “WE ARE BACK” banner featuring the BTS and ARMY logos on their Yongsan HQ wall—an unmistakable signal of the group’s return.

Celebrations are set to ignite during the 2025 BTS FESTA, marking the group’s 12th debut anniversary, scheduled for June 13–14 at KINTEX in Goyang  . Coinciding with this, J‑Hope will host his solo concert, “Hope on the Stage Final,” on the same dates at Goyang Sports Complex.

Entertainment watchers are buzzing with anticipation, speculating that the reunited BTS members may make surprise appearances at the FESTA or J‑Hope’s concert, signaling the official beginning of their full‑group activities.

Actor Song Jae Rim has tragically passed away at the age of 39. On November 12, Seongdong Police Station in Seoul confirmed that Song Jae Rim was found deceased in his apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District. At the scene, the police also found a 2-page A4 suicide note. The content was the late actor’s farewell message to his parents and family. According to preliminary police reports, no signs of foul play have been detected. But the cause of death remains unknown. However, they indicated that further examination is required to establish a conclusive statement. Actor Lee Sun-kyun found dead amid investigation over drug allegations

Actor Lee Sun-kyun of the Oscar-winning "Parasite" was found dead in an apparent suicide Wednesday (December 27, 2023) while facing an investigation over suspected drug use. A man in his 40s was found unconscious in a car at a park in central Seoul at 10:30 a.m., and the police later identified him as Lee. A charcoal briquette, which can cause fatal carbon monoxide poisoning, was found on the vehicle's front passenger seat. Lee's manager had earlier reported to the police that the actor left home after writing a memo akin to a suicide note and that his car was gone.
