“BTS “We Are Back”: Jimin and Jungkook Honorably Discharged Today”

Seoul, June 11, 2025 – K‑pop supergroup BTS is officially stepping closer to full-circle—and fans are ecstatic. Members Jimin (30) and Jungkook (28) have concluded their military service and are being discharged today from the 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, after enlisting on December 12, 2023, for their mandatory service.


Their return marks a pivotal moment: all members of BTS will soon rejoin one another. Earlier, Jin and J‑Hope had already completed their military duties, while RM and V were released yesterday  . Suga, who is fulfilling duties as a social service worker, is scheduled for discharge on June 21.


Adding to the excitement, their agency HYBE recently unveiled a massive “WE ARE BACK” banner featuring the BTS and ARMY logos on their Yongsan HQ wall—an unmistakable signal of the group’s return.

Celebrations are set to ignite during the 2025 BTS FESTA, marking the group’s 12th debut anniversary, scheduled for June 13–14 at KINTEX in Goyang  . Coinciding with this, J‑Hope will host his solo concert, “Hope on the Stage Final,” on the same dates at Goyang Sports Complex.

Entertainment watchers are buzzing with anticipation, speculating that the reunited BTS members may make surprise appearances at the FESTA or J‑Hope’s concert, signaling the official beginning of their full‑group activities.
