South Korean model Kim Jong-seok tragically passed away on June 4 at the age of 29. His funeral was held privately in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province, on the morning of June 6. While the exact cause of death has not been officially disclosed, speculation and rumors have rapidly spread online, particularly in connection with an alleged suicide incident at a residence in Hanam.


In response to these circulating rumors, Kim Jong-seok’s family, through his older sister, has publicly expressed their distress. They stated that the unfounded claims are causing significant emotional pain and suffering to the grieving family. To clarify the truth and address the misinformation, the family announced their intent to release recordings of conversations with the police and individuals involved in the final moments of Kim's life.


“We are in great pain due to the false information spreading online,” his sister stated. “We will soon release the police audio recordings and conversations with those close to the incident to set the record straight. We are also preparing to take legal action against malicious online posts.”


Kim Jong-seok was a familiar face in the fashion and beauty industry, having worked as a model for various male grooming brands, including DASIQUE’s men’s line. He also gained public attention through his appearance on the 2022 tvN dating reality show Skip.
