Chuncheon, Gangwon Province – June 10, 2025 – This morning, BTS members RM (Kim Namjoon) and V (Kim Taehyung) marked their return to civilian life with an emotional ceremony at the Sports Park in Sinbuk‑eup, Chuncheon. Their discharge event attracted waves of fans—ARMY—from across the region, who gathered to celebrate and welcome them back from fulfilling their mandatory military service.


At approximately 9:00 AM KST, RM and V emerged in their military fatigues and were greeted with roaring applause. RM, a member of the 15th Infantry Division’s military band in Hwacheon, surprised attendees by performing a stirring saxophone solo. V, who served in the elite Special Duty Team under the Army’s 2nd Corps Military Police in Chuncheon, joined in with a celebratory dance, infusing the event with the BTS energy fans adore.


To commemorate the moment, fans released balloons into the sky, creating a visually stunning display of support and joy. Both members expressed their heartfelt thanks—V promised an “impressive performance soon,” while RM shared his eagerness to begin crafting a new album and hit the stage anew.
